Debriefing Thumball
The Debriefing Thumball™ is designed to guide facilitators and participants through a structured debriefing process using a logical sequence of questions. With panels organized by color, this tool helps groups move from recalling what happened to understanding why it matters and finally applying lessons learned to future experiences.
-
Orange panels feature fact-finding questions about the activity's events, setting the stage for deeper reflection.
-
Green panels prompt participants to consider why the experience was important and to explore their feelings and insights.
-
Blue panels focus on transference, encouraging participants to connect the experience to future situations and everyday life.
By tossing the Thumball and answering the question under their thumb, participants are actively involved in the debriefing process, making reflection more engaging and memorable. This tool is perfect for educators, facilitators, and trainers looking to add excitement and structure to their debriefing sessions.
