As November comes to a close, we celebrate Thanksgiving here in the United States. For me, Thanksgiving is the perfect gateway to the holidays. It begins with bringing the people I love to the table for a feast that's always familiar, yet never the same twice. From there, it's a long weekend of improvised fun on the farm. One game we traditionally play is a game my siblings, cousins and I made up when we were probably 8 or 9 years old called Fox and Chicken. People often ask me what the first game I ever created was. I'm pretty sure this was one of the first! It's a form of a tag game that is played at night in the spooky shadows of our out-buildings on the farm. I'll include the instructions at the end of this newsletter in case you want to adapt it for your family this weekend! (No seriously, read your way down to the bottom of the newsletter cuz' it's awesome.)
There do not seem to be words to describe my gratitude for my staff here at Training Wheels. I am so thankful for the hard work and dedication this small-but-mighty crew has for our mission in this big world. The Training Wheels office will be closed this Thursday and Friday, but our online store is always open!
Have fun out there,
